Fraction Robot Mathtivity Craft

Combine a lesson on fractions (halves and quarters) with craft and creativity with our super cute Fraction Robot.

This packet will provide you with all the template pieces to make a cute robot craft! Please make sure you have time to print and prepare the necessary pages before you teach. To make this a comprehensive activity we have included a robot with detail.

Students color the templates pieces and then cut and paste to make the robot. Use traditional colors or mix it up with brights!

These pieces can be printed on color paper, or print them on white paper and ask your students to shade them. Add crafty details if you choose, to make this a more complex activity for your students.

I have provided a page with step-by-step directions, a fractions information page (for display with the crafts) and a colouring page (if you want to skip the cut and paste components).

A bonus version has been added (2018) to include pieces that require students to draw in the fraction lines - dividing each piece.
