We used this as part of our Dr. Seuss writing week. Students enjoyed describing the sock they decorated.
Description
Read the story Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss - then have students decorate their own pair of socks! Discuss "adjectives" and encourage creativity. Then have student's write 2 sentences describing their socks. "My socks are ______." "They have _______ on them." To differentiate and modify - have lower level students write one sentence, and higher level students use 2 colors and 2 designs for further details.
