Fourth Grade Journeys Spelling Word Sorts Units 1-18

These spelling flashcards and word sort headers go along with the spelling lessons in the "Journeys" reading series. The students can easily cut the cards and sort them throughout the week to work on their phonemic awareness while learning the different spelling patterns. In addition to the flashcards and headers this download includes an "ODDBALL" header, and answer keys for the sorts. If you do not use the "Journeys" program for spelling this would be a great way to have your students apply their knowledge from their spelling list sort to a new list of words. Below I have included a list of the lessons/sorts so you can see if the sort patterns are of value to you.
