Description

Help your students learn where their food comes from with these matching cards and script. This set of 30 cards (15 pairs) feature a food product in its original/natural form and then a finished product (ex. cow and milk, milk and cheese). Hand out cards to students and have them find the person whose card matches theirs, or print out multiple sets and have students work individually or in small groups to solve the matches!

You also receive a script that explains the processes involved in getting these foods from the original state to your plate :)

This bundle includes both a word and powerpoint version as well as PDFs of each for formatting reasons. I would suggest printing the powerpoint or word version and put each ingredient on cards. You can use the Powerpoint version on your smartboard/screen to help review responses with students or print out for them to study and explain to the class when the game is over.

There are so many ways to play this game, and to help students learn a little more about where their food comes from and the different roles food scientists and technologists play in the food supply!
