Following one and two step directions with Mr. Waffles makes listening easy and FUN! We know how important it is to be able to follow multi-step directions, especially when interacting with Common Core Curriculum.
This product targets concepts such as before/after, first/second/third/last, smallest/medium/biggest, top/bottom, left/right, between, and conditional directions such as If.....then. Feel free to use the picture prompts to make up your OWN directions as well.
This lesson was created for use on a teletherapy platform. However, it can easily be used on an iPad, laptop, or interactive whiteboard. Simply hand your student a dry erase marker so he/she can circle right on your screen! You may also print and laminate this activity for face-to-face, tabletop use.

HOW TO USE: Prior to presenting the directions, it's always a good idea to make sure your students are familiar with the vocabulary pictures on the target page. Next, present the direction provided at the top of the page. Provide as many repetitions as you need to. If your student is a reader, and the text provides too much support, simply use your tools to "draw" or "block out" the text, after you have read the direction out loud. Create additional directions for more practice and repetition.
