Description
This product was created for students who struggle with fluency of speech (i.e., stuttering). The fluency ("smooth speech") strategies should be taught by a Speech-Language Pathologist who can share the handouts with the teacher and/or parents when appropriate.
Each of the following strategies includes a handout with information about what it is, why it works, and practice ideas. Visuals are also included for each strategy to support generalization during therapy sessions, in the classroom, and/or at home.
The following strategies are addressed:
