Description

The novel Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown is a primary classic, and this book study is perfect for helping your students get the most out of it. Based on reading comprehension and thinking skills, your students will be challenged as they dig deeper into their reading.

With two versions to choose from, write-in comprehension questions and multiple-choice questions, you decide which version fits your needs best, then print and go. As an option, use one version for comprehension practice and the other as an assessment.

Every chapter includes comprehension questions plus a mini-lesson on a different Thinking Skill. Each skill is explained right on the page and students are given an opportunity to use that skill to help them deeper understand the text.

Here’s what teachers are saying:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really liked that there was both short answer and multiple choice questions for each chapter but the best part was the pages that explained the literacy skill! It was great for my students that needed extra reinforcement because they could read about it right on the paper and not need my help. I have purchased many novel studies from different creators and this one, by far, has been a favorite! – Roberta

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This resource was a life saver! I went from teaching in a brick and mortar building to being completely virtual. I read Flat Stanley with my students in the past and wanted to continue the tradition virtually. This has not only helped me to teach content-specific standards while reading Flat Stanley, but it gave me a variety of assessment tools to assess my students! – Kori

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was a great resource for our book study. I am so glad there were different levels of questions for me to differentiate instruction. Thank you so much! – Kasha
