Description

First Grade Unit 2 Information Writing Curriculum Companion Guide and Coaching Notes was designed with you, the busy educator, in mind. This guide is designed to complement, not replace, the ever-popular Writing Workshop Curriculum. As a Literacy Coach, I’ve helped hundreds of teachers implement Writing Workshop. This resource was created to help teachers save and maximize their time with faster and easier planning by providing a synthesized, user-friendly version of the grade-level writing session notes. In addition, I’ve added my own coaching notes, suggested mentor texts, tips, and helpful suggestions including a glossary of writing workshop terms. The format is easy to teach from and includes all the essential components of a workshop session.

I truly hope this is beneficial in your classroom.
