I am beyond THRILLED today to share with you a brand new First Grade Math Curriculum that is designed to make math FUN, hands-on and engaging for First Grade students! If you are looking to get away from the boring box curriculum or even just supplement your current math curriculum, THIS is the Kindergarten Math curriculum for you! You can use the units as a whole math curriculum or as a supplement to any classroom or homeschool math instruction. They can be seamlessly implemented into any math curriculum!

How are the Units Covered?

Each unit will offer two components to help make the math units

meaningful and engaging for whole group, small group or individual lessons. The First Grade Math Units can be a supplemental resource for current math curriculum, or it can be used as a whole math curriculum. The curriculum is designed to give the teacher flexibility and freedom to rearrange the units to fit the needs of his/her students. Since there are so many practice pages and centers in each unit, the teacher can use many of the pages as a spiral review as the year progresses.

***NO PREP Practice Pages- We all know that kids needs lots of practice to master math concepts and make them concrete. Each First Grade Math Unit will have a variety of fun NO PREP practice/worksheet pages for students to practice, practice, practice! *Center 8: Count, Tally and Graph Dogs: Count, tally and graph each dog. Then answer the questions on the recording sheet.

*Center 9: Count, Tally and Graph Farm Animals. Count, tally and graph each farm animal. Then answer the questions on the recording sheet.

*Center 10: Spin and Graph (Game Pieces) Spin the spinner. Color a game piece to match the spin. Continue spinning until you have a 1st place winner. Then answer the questions.

*Center 11:Spin and Graph (Faces)- Spin the spinner. Color a face to match the spin. Continue spinning until you have a 1st place winner. Then answer the questions.

*Center 12: Spin and Tally (Balls)- Spin the spinner. Tally a ball to match the spin. Continue spinning until you get up to 10 tallies for a ball. Answer the questions.

*Center 13: Picture Graph (Favorite Pets)- Flip a card. Read the question. Refer to the picture graph to find the answer. Record you answer on the recording sheet.

*Center 14: Picture Graph (Favorite Bugs)- Flip a card. Read the question. Refer to the picture graph to find the answer. Record you answer on the recording sheet.

*Center 15:Tally Chart: Money Collected- Flip a card. Read the question. Refer to the picture graph to find the answer. Record you answer on the recording sheet.

*Center 16: Tally Chart: Animals Collected- Flip a card. Read the question. Refer to the picture graph to find the answer. Record you answer on the recording sheet.

*Center 17: Spin, Graph and Tally Colors- Spin the spinner. Color a unit on the graph to match your spin. Continue spinning until you have a 1st place winner. Tally the results.

*Center 18:Graphing Fish-Count, tally and graph each fish. Then answer the questions on the recording sheet.

*Center 19: Graphing Candy- Count, tally and graph each type of candy. Then answer the questions on the recording sheet.

*Center 20: Picture Graph (True or False)- Look at the picture graph. Flip a card and read the statement. Decide if the statement is true or false. Record the answers on the recording sheet.

How to Teach the Units

The grade level standards for each practice page and center are clearly indicated on the First Grade Math Standard Sheet. There is no guessing as to what standard is being covered. The best part about these units is that you KNOW for sure that ALL the standards are being covered.
