Description

These math assessments are a great tool to keep track of your student’s progress in math throughout the school year and keep you organized, too! Students can keep track of their learning using the kid-friendly graphs provided. They can make goals based on the data. This is a great way to keep parents updated on their student's progress all year long.

The assessments are based on the end of kindergarten standards, so kindergarten teachers can use these as well as first grade teachers at the beginning of the year. This is a fabulous way for first grade teachers to get a snapshot of where their new students are performing at the year's start.

Individual and class record sheets are provided to look at your class as a whole and determine where gaps are and what you need to reteach and to whom. All of the paper assessments come in two versions to make reassessment easy and assure reliable results.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
