What educators are saying

This resource met the requirements of my administration as well as helped me to remember to begin each lesson with the learning targets.
Thank you for this product! Like the math targets, these are easy to understand, saves a lot of time, and doesn't take a lot of board space.

Description

This 68-page resource contains “I Can” statements for the first grade Common Core and success criteria. “I Can” standards are the common core English Language Arts standards presented in a kid friendly format. Success criteria helps students analyze their own knowledge and ability to see whether they are meeting the standards. Use these to help students understand the new common core first grade standards.

Included in this file is a non-editable PDF version and an editable PDF version so that you can change text to suit your needs. The non-editable version includes clip art. Not every page has clip art, due to space constraints and/or no clip art to match the standard. The editable version does not include clip art, as it's impossible to predict how much/little buyers would like to change for each standard and I can't tailor font size to meet each individual buyer's need while still accommodating for clip art.

This file is a compressed file holding 2 PDFs. Be sure that you have an application to open this file type before downloading and/or purchasing.

This version DOES NOT include a black and white version. It includes a color version ONLY.

Permission to copy for single classroom use only. Electronic distribution limited to single classroom use only.
