    Description

    • Do your first-grade students need decodable phonics stories and passage?. Do you have first-grade students or older students who need a systematic intervention as well as decodable passages? These Reading passages can be used as a stand-alone curriculum or as a supplement to another phonics program. As an Academic Language therapist and I created these decodable passages and lessons that are Correlated to Wilson Fundations Level 1 first grade. This bundle contains over 100 passages for first grade or for other grades for RTI but they are suitable to supplement any phonics program such as phonics first or IMSE or other structured literacy programs. It also includes
    • Lesson plans for each concept
    • Videos for each concept
    • Phonemic Awareness Activities
    • Segmentation and Dictation
    • Real Word and Nonsense Word Reading
    • Phrase Reading for Fluency
    • Syllable Division practice in later units
    • cloze passages for meaningful repeated reading
    • comprehension questions with emphasis on wh questions
    • numbered fluency passages for assessment and RTI groups.
    • Fry sight words are covered and incorporated for each unit.
    • High Frequency Word mapping by having students recognize phoneme grapheme correspondence when possible and drawing a picture as a memory trigger for letters saying unexpected sounds or no sound.
    • This has over 100 stories so you will have plenty of practice.
    • You can use this as a supplement to your program or follow the lesson plans and activities for a stand alone program. The file is bookmarked for easier navigation.
