First Day Letter Flipchart

I always end the first day of school by having my second grade students write a letter to themselves about what they did that day and what they are looking forward to in the coming year. This 9 page flipchart includes a friendly letter from me to the students, introduces the parts of a friendly letter, has a brainstorming chart, and has a friendly letter template for modeling.
