Description

This First Day Jitters differentiated, printable & digital writing activity is a sample from my First Day Jitters Book Study/Companion Packet. This differentiated writing sample goes up on our writing wall on the first day of school. Each month, I collect a writing sample from each of my students. At the end of the year, this writing piece becomes the first writing piece in a writing portfolio that I make for each student, by putting all of the monthly writing pieces together. I put a cover titled: My _____ Grade Writing. My students' family ♥ them!

Now with a digital version, this resource can be used for distance learning.

Start the Year on the right track with Narrative Writing

To get my room ready at the beginning of the year for Back to School Night, it's our Meet the Teacher Night, I use my First Day Jitters Book Study/Companion Packet, David Goes to School Activities & Book Study & First Day Jitters Banner. My students love these activities and their parents ♥ the way our classroom looks when they visit our classroom during Back to School Night!
