What educators are saying

Students were actively engaged using this resource. It made learning exciting and aligned to our standards and objectives.
This was a very interactive activity that I was able to do with my students. They loved getting up and active while still learning. Highly recommend.

Description

This Complementary and Supplementary Angles Activity Pack has everything to keep your students engaged when diving into everything from 90 degrees to 180 degrees!

A set of 20 task cards for solving for complementary or supplementary angles is included. The set includes task cards with angles and written out problems. Recording sheet and answer keys are provided.

Use “I can” Flips to assess students or use as a quick review. Each page has 5 complementary and 5 supplementary problems. Students cut the “flips” and write the answers underneath. These are also great additions to interactive math notebooks if printed at a reduced size.

Complementary and Supplementary True and False Sort is a quick and low prep activity that has students reading statements about angles and sorting them into true and false categories. For example “150 degrees is supplementary to 65 degrees” (false) and would be sorted into the false category. Recording sheet is provided as well as an answer key with this activity.

Complementary and Supplementary Matching Cards is another quick activity provided. To prep simply print and cut apart for students to match and solve. Each card has a degree or picture of an angle with a labelled degree.

Complementary and Supplementary Angle Math Bands will be a hit with your students. 2 versions are provided in this purchase. Simply cut and have students comfortably tape them around their wrists so they can remember that complementary angles add up to 90 degrees and supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees. These are also perfect math book marks for textbooks or notebooks. Your students can also clip them to clipboards or tape on whiteboards while working on activities.
