This was fantastic! Its a great set, and helpful in getting started with and adjusting to meet my specific needs. My students were engaged the entire time.
Great resource for my Intro to Film class! I'd never taught the class before so this was a huge help!

This resource is used in a Film Studies class as notes for our Animation Unit. These instructional materials include relevant, interesting videos and give an in-depth look at the history of animation from creation through the 1960s. These notes are available and editable through Google Slides and are great for distance learning or a flipped classroom, as students can watch the videos and read the material at their own pace.

This is the first set of notes in the unit. The second part is linked hereand focuses on the types of animation that developed after the 60s. Both notes offer students a well-rounded understanding of the history, process, and art behind animated films.
