Description

Fifty-Three Character and Story Ideas is a book that will help students become stronger writers. The book is divided into sections for different genres.

Fantasy

Historical Fiction

Realistic Fiction

Animal Fiction

Ghost and Horror

Science Fiction

Dystopian

Romance

Each genre is introduced and explained briefly.

Each character and story idea has questions to kickstart your students' imagination and help them develop their writing.

By answering each question, they can write longer and with more details. Please encourage your students to think carefully about each question because their stories will unfold differently depending on how they answer them. In addition, the answers will help them plan their writing.

For the historical fiction ideas, there are research suggestions included.

You will also find "continue the story" prompts to help your students to write.

This book can benefit students who struggle to come up with ideas to write and spend a long time thinking before starting to write.

The prompts and ideas can also be used as extra work if a student often finishes before other students.

The ideas are also great for gifted students and to see how different students approach the same idea or prompt.

If you homeschool, this book is a great resource to get your learner to write and become stronger writers.
