Felix Fox at the Fair! Tips and reps for the /f/ sound

For anyone who desires to help children develop understandable speech skills, we are here to help! Each book in this series is written to highlight the sounds that are typically mastered by the end of a child's 4th year of age. We all know that every child develops at his or her own pace, so this series can be used to help any child struggling with the highlighted target sounds. These books are designed to be used by professionals and helpers alike. Each book provides the coach/teacher with a quick and easy guide page to learn visual, tactile, or verbal cues that will encourage the child as you go through the book. If the child you are working with cannot read, that is ok! This series also utilizes repetitive phrases that the child can easily learn and repeat throughout the book.

Each book features a question/answer dialogue between the coach and the child. For example:

COACH: "Who ate french fries with a fork?"

CHILD: "Felix Fox at the fair!"

Repetitive responses can be tailored to the child's ability level by selecting one, 2 or 3 of the target sound words in the phrase. This example applies to each book in the series and each book highlights a different target sound.

With plenty of repetition and a review page that highlights the target sound with words and pictures, the child will become familiar with correct production of each target sound and well on the road to success!
