Description

Looking for a fun Ocean activity that reinforces ELA skills? These digital task cards, suitable mostly for Second, Third, and Fourth Grade, reinforce the ELA skill of identifying synonyms. Students read a word on a sign and "feed" the ocean animal (shark, whale, octopus, manta ray, jellyfish, sea turtle) a synonym (on a fish, krill, seaweed, etc). The correct word disappears into the animal's mouth. Fun vocabulary review for Summer or even Shark Week! Good complement to your science unit on ocean life!

Have you tried BOOM Cards™? They are online digital task cards! No prep! No printing, cutting, or laminating!

Students can complete the tasks on their individual devices (tablet, iPad, Chrome Book), or take turns at the interactive white board. The cards are self-correcting and give immediate feedback. Correct answers get circled in green and incorrect answers get crossed out in red…and the students can try again.

When you download this product, you will get a PDF with a link to access your BOOM Card™ deck on BOOM Learning.
