Mardi Gras is Tuesday, February 21, 2023 a.k.a. Fat Tuesday!

Let's bring the Mardi Gras Celebration to the classroom

TEACH & Learn with Mardi Gras is your seasonal/holiday, one to a two-day lesson plan that highlights and educates students on the meaning and importance of Mardi Gras.

Students will be engaged in the learning and understanding of English/Language Arts, Spelling, Reading, and Writing; and will be able to cite textual evidence to support the analysis and understanding of informative and literature text.

In this resource,

  • Teachers will have a no-prep, print-and-go, and easy-to-teach lesson plan that can be implemented on Tuesday, February 21 ( and even Wednesday, February 22)
  • One (1) full lesson plan agenda
  • Nine (9) Activity worksheets for students in Pre-K through 8th grade:
