Description

Created by an experienced teacher of Family & Consumer Sciences, this bundle contains all you need to continue in the Fashion & Interior Design course. This is the sewing project component of Unit 4-Sewing Construction. It contains all of the following:

    • 4.5.1 Construct a textile project using a pattern with 3-5 or more pattern pieces, a hem, and buttons.
    • 4.5.2 Construct a textile project for home interior use.
    • 4.5.3 Construct a textile project incorporating the use of a serger.
    • 4.5.4 Construct a textile project incorporating the use of the computerized embroidery machine for embellishment.
    • 4.5.5 Develop a project using FCCLA STAR Event Fashion Construction.

Unit 4 sewing projects meets the needs of both Fashion and Interior Design. This curriculum guides students in both fashion design and interior design courses for high school students desiring a continuation into either. This product contains 11 weeks of hands on sewing projects. There is some versatility as to which projects can be assigned. All project and rubrics are separated and can be printed out for student use. Students will need sewing machines and sewing supplies to complete these activities.

How to convert MS Word Documents to Google Docs:

  1. Open your Google Drive
  2. Click New
  3. Select File Upload
  4. Select the Word document and click Open. The file will upload.
  5. Double click the uploaded document.
  6. Click Open with
  7. Select Google docs.

How to convert MS PowerPoint slides to Google Slides:

  1. Open your Google Drive
  2. Select Slides. Go to Google Slides.
  3. Open a Blank Presentation. Create a blank Google Slides presentation.
  4. In a new presentation, select File, then Import Slides.
  5. Upload the PPT file.
  6. Select the newly converted slides.
