What educators are saying

My students loved this mini project and the variety of activities that went with it! The book suggestions were a great addition and the day by day planning could be copied straight into my teacher plans required by my school which saved me so much time! 10/10 resource :)

Description

Fall Project Based Learning First Grade - Halloween PBL

In this Fall project based learning unit first or second grade students will take on the role of a scientist, exploring a pumpkin. They will carry out experiments to measure a pumpkin, make comparisons, use their senses and think about how pumpkins can be used to make different foods. They will draw a face they could carve into their pumpkin and think about how to best use it after the project.

Designed for first grade, this PBL for Fall is broken down into manageable lessons that can easily be delivered by the teacher and enjoyed by the class. There is a focus on writing and drawing at an age-appropriate level and instructions are written simply for children to follow.
