Temperatures are getting cooler, leaves are changing colors, football teams are playing, and it's time for apple picking- it's FALL! Fall is my favorite season and math is my favorite subject. I hope you enjoy these math centers.

5 Fraction Centers and one bonus Decimal Center! Save on ink by printing once and using again and again!

Details:
- 12 Fall Fraction Cards to be used with all response pages.
- Fall Fractions #1 is a pre-fractions lesson. It asks students which is more _____ or _____?
- Fall Fractions #2 and #3 are beginning fraction lessons. Students are asked to identify a part of the whole.
- Fall Fractions #4 is more challenging. Students are asked hypothetical questions, NOT questions, and to compare fractions to one half.
- Fall Fractions #5 is more challenging. Students are asked hypothetical questions, NOT questions, to compare fractions to one-fourth, one half, and three-fourths, and to write fractions in order from least to greatest.
- BONUS! Fall Decimals lesson using the same cards.
- All answer keys.

Directions for preparing centers:
1. Print fraction cards in color.
2. Laminate for durability.
3. Cut apart.
4. Store deck of cards in a Ziploc bag, with a rubber band, or in an envelope.
5. Supply students with a response sheet. Response sheets could be laminated, or used inside a sheet protector for repeated use. If you want to grade students’ work and send home then print onto paper instead.

Centers can be used over several weeks as students work through a fraction unit. Assign students to specific centers or let them choose one to complete and eventually work through them all.

Students can use these centers independently or in pairs. Questions can be answered out of order on response sheets as long as students write each answer in the correct place.

Instruct your students on whether or not you’d like them to reduce fraction answers.
