Description

My name is Melanie Whitesides but my store name is Wonbyone. One of the things I am passionate about is Reader's Theater. It is a fun way for my students to improve on their fluency. In a world where reading is pushed so hard on students that many are losing their love of reading it is IMPORTANT to give them opportunities to read that are fun. Reader's Theater does this. In this package I have placed 6 Reader's Theaters. They are: The Brennan Town Musicians, Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Rumpelstiltskin, Thumbelina, and The Ugly Duckling. I haven't changed the story on these. I've merely retold it. They are all written for groups of 3 to 5 students.

Most of my scripts are in black and white so they photo copy easily. The problem with many other reader's theaters is that students spend a lot of time waiting for their part. When you have a small group they get more practice in and less off task behaviors take place. You can buy these individual Reader's Theaters on my site for $2.50 a piece OR you can buy all 6 here for $10. This will save you $5. A sort of buy 4 get 2 free deal. *IF you teach 4th grade, some of the scripts will need to be used in your higher group. If you and your students enjoy these scripts, look for more at my store!
