FREEBIE RACE Writing Strategy Classroom Posters *FREE*

The Common Core standards require students to respond to text dependent questions in great detail, such as using evidence from the text to support their reasoning. In my classroom I use the RACE method to teach my students how to respond to such questioning.
The Acronym RACE stand for the following:
R-estate the question
A-nswer the question and all its parts
C-ite evidence from the text
E-xplain the evidence
S-ummarize your response

I laminated these posters and then punched holes in the top & bottom corners to vertically connect the posters using binder clips. They can also be used as display on whiteboards, bulletin boards, wherever you want. :) Enjoy and thanks for stopping by! 
