Description

This fun Halloween themed jeopardy game is all about figurative language. The categories are: Similes, Metaphors, Personification, Idioms, and Grab Bag which also includes a question on hyperbole, alliteration, and other examples of figurative language. One slide has a fun direct link to a short video clip from The Wizard of Oz showing personification. All slides are linked to an answer slide and to the scoreboard so students can have some fun competition. Cute Halloween graphics are engaging. Great fun way to cover a lot of figurative language. Must have SMART Notebook software to download and use this lesson.
