Write Right! Essay Writing Made Easy 2020
Writing is a major focus in my classes, second only to teaching middle and high school students to think and analyze what they read and hear. "Writing: Write Right! Essay Writing Made Easy" shares what and how I teach expository writing. The lessons and activities activities included in this packet encourage students to strengthen their writing prowess, confidence and sense of ownership. This detailed handbook addresses how to teach every part of an essay, and offers corresponding activities. The Focus topics in the Table of Contents show how I break down the writing process to make it less overwhelming to young people.
Each Focus section beginning with the 8th Topic, "Essay Parts, Purpose, Tone, and Syntax," and ending with the 26th, "Student Essay Sample," is reinforced with 1-4 activities so students may connect the information on the topic with their writing.
