Description

"Exploring the Sun" is a mini-unit for pagan parented families. It guides children grades 3-6 through an exploration of science around the sun, ancient practices of sun worship, modern celebrations of the sun, and mythology involving the sun. A list of recommended books about sun science and mythology is included. Children are provided a journal to record the ways they choose to honor the sun, and guided through creating their own myth about the sun.
