Description
Student read and discuss the poem "One Inch Tall" by Shel Silverstein, noting the rhyme scheme, paraphrasing each stanza, and analyzing the speaker, their perspective, and ideas conveyed.
Then, students will write an original poem from the perspective of someone who is 15 Ft tall. they will use the planning sheets, the structure of Silverstein's poem, and a teacher model to create an original poem.
