How to use these Exit Slips:

Exit slips are a great assessment tool for you, and a great reflective tool for students. These exit ticket templates include a variety of diagnostic assessments that can be used to gather feedback from your students and assess their comprehension. 

These exit slips are designed to evaluate students’ retention of the day's lesson.  After administrating these slips, you will have a better understanding of how to pace your current and future units and will be able to predict the learning outcomes of your students more accurately.

Classroom exit tickets are a great way to maximize the potential for learning at the end of each class. They also prime students to prepare their responses and search for answers in the day's lesson, serving as a great classroom management strategy!  For early finishers, you can provide the exit slip to the student and use their answers as an opportunity for discussion, collaboration, or further learning.

There are a variety of assessments to chose from in this package because no single assessment can apply to every instructional period.  For example, not every class will include a lesson in which three or more concepts are taught, so using a 3-2-1 exit ticket might not be possible.  It may be more useful to ask students which concepts have been most challenging over the unit or ask them to reflect on yesterday's lesson instead.

All of the pages in this resource have been formatted using Lexend Deca font to aid in reading proficiency.
