Eve Bunting's A Day's Work: Vocabulary, Questions, Answers, and Writing Task

This is a great story about the importance of telling the truth. For higher level students it speaks to the immigrant experience. This is perfect for elementary school, middle school, and high school ENL students. The handout includes vocabulary, reading comprehension and analysis questions, and an answer key. This does not include a lesson with an objective yet it can easily be made into one because it has all of the elements of one.
