Enrichment Task Cards | Bigfoot Gifted and Talented Independent Activities

This resource is designed specifically for students who are curious thinkers, seeking enrichment opportunities beyond the curriculum. The tasks are appropriate for gifted learners, as well as high achievers who would benefit from an independent challenge. The included activities are based on an intriguing central theme (Bigfoot), with tasks that require critical and creative thinking. Students will be asked to analyze information, construct unique ideas, and consider new perspectives. There are 20 integrated task cards that involve language arts (reading, writing, speaking & listening), math, science, social studies, and artistic expression.

PLEASE NOTE:

Students will need access to the Internet for some of the tasks that involve research. Most of the tasks simply require paper and pencil, but a few other materials (dental floss or string, centimeter grid/graph paper, crayons, and a yard stick or measuring tape) will be needed for some of the task cards.
