What educators are saying

This unit was a lifesaver for my summer school credit recovery class. The resources are high-interest and engaging.

Description

This comprehensive, 80 question pre-test/post-test assesses students' knowledge on literary elements, vocabulary, parts of speech, grammar, and elements of drama. It can also by used as the mid-year-test for collecting data about student growth. An answer key is included for your convenience.

I use this with all my 9-12th grade classes as pretest at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year as a post-test. .

***I've included eyes in the upper left corner because studies have demonstrated that (and my experience shown) people are statistically more likely to be honest if they are being watched, and even an abstract pair of eyes can replicate that behavior.
