Expository reading is the most challenging for new readers. This highly engaging reading article gives students the practice they need to polish this skill.

This article was specifically made to support NGSS 4-PS3-1 and 4-PS3-3. This article would also be appropriate for grades 3-5.

A pre-reading page along with a question page and answer key are also included.

Use this as a center, a whole class lesson, independent work, sub plans, or an assessment.

This product is also in my 4th Grade Energy Unit.
