What educators are saying

This was perfect or my Creative Writing class. My 8th graders were able to reflect on their time in elementary and middle school and create a meaningful keepsake.

Description

Enjoy this fun activity with your students during the last few days/weeks of school! Each slide presents a question that requires the students to reflect on their school year--you get to talk about everything from favorite parts, least favorite parts, best memories, and things they look forward to for next year. The best part about this Google Slides activity is that you can target so many goals without the kids even knowing! You can target descriptive adjectives, reasoning, forming grammatically correct sentences, superlatives, etc..

USE--You could easily pair this activity with the PearDeck add-on to google slides. If you choose this option, I would recommend using the "draw" slide so that the students have access to participating through multimodal responses (i.e. drawing, typing, speech-to-text). The presentation can also be used in present mode in Google Slides and have a live discussion with your class so that you can all hear one another's ideas.
