What educators are saying

Easy, no-prep activity for the end of the year! It took a lot longer than I expected, and some of my students needed help assembling it.
Fun and engaging! My students enjoyed the brain-break at the end of the year. We spent a day puzzling and then we hung them from the ceiling in my classroom. Thank you for this fun resource!

Description

Do you need an end of the year math project that includes a math reflection and is fun for students? Check out this Math Review Project. Students use their knowledge of graphing (quadrant one or all quadrants included), multiplication, representing data, symmetry, and more to complete this cube. There are 6 different stations. All the math topics reviewed are in the 4th and 5th grade common core standards. This makes a great closure activity for 4th - 7th grade math classes! You could use this as an individual project or partner review project.

Take a look at the preview to see what the finished project looks like!

Fluently multiply multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts. Identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.
Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
Display numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots, histograms, and box plots.
