END OF YEAR STUDENT ADVICE LETTER

Look no further for the perfect reflective activity for the last day of school AND get ahead for next year at the same time! This end of the year letter is a way to meaningfully connect students in your classroom between different school years as current students write an anonymous letter to a new student who will be at their desk next year.

Current students have the opportunity to reflect on the year by filling out a letter to be given to next year's class during their first week of school. Two versions of this letter are available to you:

    • a mad lib version
    • a graphic organizer version (with editable fields)

(Important: Editable forms should be opened in Adobe Acrobat which can be downloaded for free here. Fonts will not hold if opened in Preview.)

    Includes:

    Teacher Guide

Complete with directions for editing the Graphic Organizer version

Student Advice Letter (Mad Lib version)

Students fill in the blanks to complete the letter

Student Advice Letter (Graphic Organizer version)

Edit with the teacher's name and correct pronoun in Adobe before printing

    Student Advice Letter (Less Ink)

Both versions available with a simple border

    Happy Buyers Have Said:

"I used this during the last week of school. Can't wait to have my new students read this on the first week of school!"

"Very helpful in wrapping the year up."

"Perfect for the last day of school."

PDF fields are editable in Graphic Organizer version through Adobe.
