Description
Ever wanted an easy, private way to connect with every student in your class?
This digital activity allows students to reflect on their learning and progress each week. This formative assessment forms part of the student care a teacher can provide, teaching students journaling as a method of selfcare, and a weekly insight, into each student.
Activity:
A slide for each week in a term, allowing students to represent their progress as a sticker and the teacher to respond with a sticker.
Weekly slide:
- Teachers can assign and monitor the activity for each student - allowing privacy between teacher and student.
- Each week has 10 stickers available to student to reflect their week. Each sticker representing a statement that the student wishes to communicate with the teacher.
- The teacher can use the sticker to develop an idea of how the student is feeling.
- A link at the top of the page sends the student to a page. If they can, or want to, students can complete the answer blocks to communicate with the teacher.
- Both pages are linked and available for teacher and students to navigate,
The presentation is editable, but no image or writing can be copied out of Easel. The background makes use of free clipart from Canva and my changes to powerpoint shapes and icons. Details of the source of these are provided at the end of the resource.
