The following resource is in French.

Students enter our classes (and our hearts) with unique experiences, various situations and many different emotions. This resource will give students the opportunity to communicate how they are feeling in a kid-friendly way.

These daily emotional check-ins for Kindergarten or Primary French Immersion are a great way to sprinkle in social-emotional and mental health learning as bell ringers, morning meetings, community circles or small counselling groups. The journal prompts serve as a great way to follow-up with students.

How are you feeling? Colour in the corresponding picture.

Why? Is there something they'd like to share?

What do they need from you? A hug? A high-five? A snack? A body break? A reminder of how awesome they are?
