Elements of Art: Space Mini-Lesson Powerpoint
- PPTX
What educators are saying
Description
Teaching space as an element of art can be tough. I really had some important ideas to get across to my students but didn't want to overload them with too much. This PowerPoint lesson is designed to meet the needs of elementary school art students, with fun images, animations and lots of discussion points with suggested Kagan structures. I also included my personal, research based notes, just in case this isn't your favorite element of art:).
The first half of the lesson I use for all my students, but the last half I save for the 3rd-5th grade students. The content is applicable for middle school art classes as well. The final slide is a suggested written assessment, but could also be used as a final discussion to wrap it up.
Enjoy!!
Please take a look at the preview. I know you will love it!
In my notes I reference two instructional activities that I will be posting shortly, keep an eye out for those products. They would really add nice portfolio pieces for product based assessments.
I am constantly working to improve my lesson plans, PowerPoints, visuals, etc. If and when I improve this or any other item I have for sale on TPT, I will always offer the updated version to the purchasers of the original at no cost.
If you ever have a concern about any of my lessons feel free to email me. I'm happy to receive any feedback. ElemArts14@yahoo.com
