Elements of Art: Shapes Mini-Lesson Powerpoint

After teaching this shape lesson the past year I revamped my presentation and I am so proud of the results. This PowerPoint lesson is designed for you to help you instruct your budding artists on the meaning and importance of shapes. It contain a video, animations and an assessment for 3rd-6th grade students. The images and content are enjoyable for elementary and middle school students alike. The artwork referenced is fun and easy for the kids to identify. This slideshow would be great for the visual arts teacher or a classroom teacher integrating the arts.

In my notes I reference two instructional activities that I will be posting shortly, keep an eye out for those products. They would really add nice portfolio pieces for product based assessments.
