Description

I love fun, fast, and ready-made grammar, punctuation, and other common error quizzes for middle and high school learners! They are easy to scatter throughout the semester or school year, or give out as diagnostics or re-dos for students who need that extra help in mechanics and usage.

Quizzes like this from my store are effective self-check-ins for readers, scaffold other larger tasks, are all auto-graded, have varied question styles and cover most common errors students and writers make in common school tasks and assignments! Additionally, they save YOU tons of time grading and tracking reading comprehension data, are easy to share via link with learners, and have been successful with my awesome students in grades 8-12!

Purpose: This quiz assesses learners' understanding of common errors a writing might see in a text during the editing process.

Instructions:

  1. Read each question carefully, and answer all questions
  2. There are a total of 25 questions for 25 points
  3. Review your score and feedback (Note: incorrect responses are explained)

Timeline: varies according to learner; approximately 20 minutes
