Here is a haunting, unconventional readers theatre adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven for three of your best readers.

This adaptation would be an excellent addition to your Poe, Poetry, or English Literature unit, as an in-class or parent presentation, or as part of a school poetry or drama program. This version would also be excellent for speech, poetry, or drama festival competitions.

The script includes Performance Notes with suggestions about staging The Raven for readers theatre.

This isn’t a “no-prep” adaptation. The poem requires thoughtful study and preparation, and the readers theatre presentation style requires rehearsal.
