Introduction to Economic

Financial Literacy

The topics are simplified and the lesson is easy to implement and for students to follow. The module has self-guided worksheets, a PowerPoint Presentation aligned with the worksheets, student skeleton-notes in google slide format and PDF format, and an online quiz and/or class game.

Objectives: Students will be able to:

· Explain the importance of understanding economics.

· Define the terms: economics, resources, the scarcity problem, and financial literacy.

· Explain the difference between “needs” and “wants,” and give examples of both.

· Identify and give examples of both “goods” and “services.”
