Description

Teacher-Authors, this easy to follow, step by step, how to video will teach you how you can use PowerPoint to create an attractive video preview or ad to showcase your product, idea, or blog post on social media, or right here on TpT once video previews are live!

Using PowerPoint, a program you are most likely already comfortable with, I will walk you through the steps to making a video advertisement! No need for fancy programs, equipment, or to hire someone to do it for you!

Here are some examples of videos created with PowerPoint:
Bowl & Learn from Primary Paradise
Dab & Learn from Primary Paradise
Monthly Journals from Primary Paradise
Early Finishers from Primary Paradise
Mighty Math from Hippo Hooray for Second Grade
Civilization Research from Learning Lab
The Westing Game from The Colorful Apple
Simple Sentence Scrambles from KTP on TPT
Editable Color by Code from Teaching in the Tongass

This 30 minute video walks you through the entire process, and I have also included editable brainstorming and planning sheets (both in PDF & PowerPoint).

Skills you will learn:
*formatting your slides
*adding pictures and text
*animating your pictures and text
*edit timings
*save as a video right from PowerPoint
*add music to your video using Movie Maker

Note: I am a PC user and this video is made based on the PC version of PowerPoint and Movie Maker. Everything shared in the video can translate to MAC users, but buttons might be in different places or named something slightly different, and you'll need to use iMovie instead of Movie Maker (which is very similar). I'm happy to help the best I can with any questions you may have. If you have questions, please send screenshots with your questions to primaryparadisetpt@gmail.com and I'll assist you through email. Thank you!
