Easy Middle School Art Lesson Project: Pop Art! Giant Snack Foods

In this project / lesson students create a large scale snack food in the style of Pop artist Claes Oldenburg. The lesson provides step-by-step directions that include diagrams and video examples. In addition, the lesson provides a brief summary of the Pop Art movement and introduces students to 8 predominant Pop artists through, quotes, facts, selected art pieces and embedded video segments.

Lesson includes:

- PowerPoint slide show

- Artist Bios (quotes, facts, art examples & videos)

- Video tutorials

- Detailed diagrams

- Student product examples
