Description

These Easter writing prompts take kids on a creative writing adventure! In this unique Easter activities set, students work in partners with partner prompts and travel from station to station creating a story based on the station ideas and clues.

Our students need more oral language practice and this is perfect and fun! You will cut out and strategically place Easter bunny footprints along the floor leading to different stations. Students do not need to go in order. At each station, they work with their partner to come up with a story based on clues given. Lots of turn and talks and a planning sheet to get them going.

Students will get to choose their own details and will use partner prompt cards to help their partners and themselves make sure they have included all the elements of a good story in their discussions.

On day 2, students will write their story with the story page provided. This lesson set is completely differentiated by design.

Options:

Students can only take part in the oral language story development, they can have their stories written by someone else (transcribed) or they can draw their stories.

What is included:

★ Anticipation poster

★ 6 stations

→ print in full color, or black and white

★ Partner prompts on colored cards

★ Footprints

★ Planning and writing papers.
