Picture Memory Activity

GOAL: Each student/team will memorize a picture, then the picture will be removed and they have to answer a specific question about the picture.

RULES:

1. Student/team will be given 20 seconds – 1 minute to memorize a Christmas picture

2. The picture will be removed & the student/team will be asked a question

3. Then the answer will be revealed, including circling the specific details of the answer

4. When a student/team is correct, add 1 point to their score on the point tracker/white board

Mystery Picture Reveal

GOAL: Be the first student/team to raise their hand and guess the correct answer for the picture that is hidden behind blocks that will be reveal one at a time.

RULES:

1. Student/team will be shown one Easter/Spring picture at a time

2. That picture will be covered up by 60 purple, green and yellow blocks

3. Each block will be removed one at a time, the teacher pauses after each block is removed to check to see if any student/team want to use their one and only guess (per round)

4. The more boxes that are revealed, the easier it will be to guess the correct answer

5. When a student/team think they know the answer, they will raiser their hand to guess

6. If a student attempts a guess and gets it incorrect, they will be out of that round

7. When a student/team is correct, add 1 point to their score on the point tracker/white board

Calorie Guess ‘Em

GOAL: Guess the exact calories of common Easter/Spring Foods/Drinks

RULES:

1. Student/team will be shown one Easter/Spring food or drink

2. They will use the recording sheet/small white board to try to guess the exact calories

3. Student/team who gets it exactly right or the closest without going over, win that round

4. If they get it exactly right, they will earn 2 points, if they are closest, they earn 1 point

5. The teacher will narrow down the guesses by calling out the calorie ranges. Eg: 70-100

6. When the student/team guess is between the range called out, they raise their hand

7. Then the teacher narrows it down even more, 80-90, 80-85, then reveals the correct answer

8. At that point only a few hands will still be up, now the correct answer will be revealed

9. The teacher should check their sheet to make sure they had the answer they said when they had their hand raised

10. Add 1 point or 2 points, to their score on the point tracker/white board

Word Scramble

GOAL: Unscramble the word or phrase of a common Easter/Spring term

RULES:

1. Student/team will be shown a scrambled word on the top of the PowerPoint

2. Give the student/team 20 seconds – 1 minute to unscramble the term

3. Each student/team must unscramble and correctly spell the popular word/phrase

4. The student/team write their answers either on a white board or the recording sheet

5. The teacher reveals the correct answer (bottom of PowerPoint), then checks all answers

4. When a student/team is correct, add 1 point to their score on the point tracker/white board
