Melodic composition activity for Easter/Spring
This colorful Easter Peeps themed composition activity is perfect for the Spring season. Your students can create and compose their own melodies using Peeps themed images. Then, the class can sing or play the compositions on an instrument, or Boomwhackers (peeps are color coded for Boomwhackers), or for an extra challenge, notate the melodies on the staff. (Staff slide printable is also included.) Complete directions and rhythmic symbol slides are also included.
Rhythms used: ta, titi, rest (quarter note, eighth notes, quarter rest)
Solfege Melody syllables used: sol mi la
