Description
Write the room activities are so fun and engaging for Grade 1/2 students- and perfect for Easter! Students "hunt" for words around the room and record the words they find on a recording sheet. This activity is a great way to get students out of their seats and moving during literacy/reading time.
In this activity, students will look around the words for eggs that have nonsense or normal (sight) words. On their recording sheet, they will put the word in the correct column- either nonsense or normal.
There are 3 fun ways to play this activity, which are explained in the 1-page teacher guide. Prep is easy! Simply print and cut out the egg sheets, and hide them around the room by taping them in hidden locations.
This resource includes:
- 2-page Easter Egg Hunt Worksheets
- 1-page Teacher Guide
- 32 Egg Words - in colour
- 32 Egg Words - in greyscale/lineart
